 With over 25 years of experience, Paul Lysek began his career as an equipment operator, initially running a 973 Track Loader for a transfer station. Driven by a desire to deepen his expertise, Paul transitioned into the demolition industry, where he quickly gained proficiency in operating a wide range of heavy equipment for site work and demolition processes. His dedication and exceptional performance led to his promotion to a supervisory role at a leading demolition firm in New York City. In this capacity, Paul effectively managed a team of over 50 crew members while adhering to rigorous safety protocols and best practices.  Paul's career later expanded as he joined a company that operated throughout the East Coast, where he played an integral role in several high-profile demolition projects, including the Johnson Matthey Chemical Plant, Virginia Center Commons, St. Augustine Outlets, St. Petersburg Police Department, and the dismantling of the Tampa Bay Times and Herald Tribune Printing Presses. It was during this time that Paul met his business partner, Michael Basile, and recognized their complementary skills and shared vision, leading to the founding of their own company, Suncoast Wrecking.  At Suncoast Wrecking, no project is too large or too small. Paul and Michael’s combined industry expertise and commitment to excellence ensure that the company delivers reliable, safe, and efficient demolition services tailored to meet each client's unique needs. Their leadership and experience have made Suncoast Wrecking a trusted name in the demolition industry. 

 Michael Basile began his career at the age of 18, accumulating over 20 years of experience in the demolition industry. Having worked for some of the top leaders in the field, his extensive resume includes notable projects such as the demolition of the former Giants Stadium and the recent demolition of the St. Petersburg Police Department. Over the years, Michael has held various positions, including equipment operator, foreman, and roll-off driver. His leadership and expertise were further demonstrated during major Florida projects, such as the dismantling of the Tampa Bay Times Printing Press and the demolition of the St. Augustine Mall, where he successfully managed his own crews.  Leveraging his extensive experience and industry knowledge, Michael co-founded Suncoast Wrecking alongside his colleague Paul Lysek, with a commitment to delivering top-tier service and excellence on every project. Together, they strive to be industry leaders, ensuring each client's demolition needs are met with professionalism and precision. We also provide debris removal and recycling services to ensure a clean and sustainable demolition process.
